Known limits
- The editor takes a paste from the terminal and a mouse sweep copies out of it, but it has no keyboard selection: shift+arrows do nothing, and copy is the pointer's job. The clipboard is the terminal's (OSC 52), which most terminals honour and macOS Terminal.app does not.
- Long lines scroll horizontally instead of soft-wrapping.
- Search is a substring scan over the files. Fine for thousands of notes; it is not an index.
- Secrets belong to one user; there is no sharing between accounts yet, and no giving an app one — the types catalogue says who reaches what, and nothing enforces it yet.
- Content is encrypted at rest, not end to end: the server holds the key it seals everything with. See Encryption at rest.
- Secret values are versioned nowhere: overwriting one loses the old value.
- Agents poll rather than hold a connection, so a job waits up to
poll_secondsbefore it starts. There is no schedule yet — jobs are queued by hand or by whatever cron you point atcloudmorrow agent run. - A fileshare mount is for the session: it does not come back after a
reboot, and it stops working when the token it signed in with expires (30
days by default), at which point
share mountagain. Nothing remounts it for you yet — that is a job for the agent, along with the Local backups tab, which is a placeholder. The server's own backups, into a bucket, are a thing of their own. - A picture put in a page by the kit's editor and taken out again is not
taken out of
img/: nothing prunes the folder yet. The terminal app shows one picture at a time, beside the text rather than in it, and a terminal without Kitty or Sixel graphics gets half-cells.
