What it does

Notes in Markdown, in folders, saved as you type

Add it to your cloud

$ cm quill add notes

Or, as an administrator, open Administration → Quills in the app and choose Notes. Either way your cloud shows you everything below and waits for your yes.

What it adds to your cloud

The kinds of data it works with. Records belong to the people who write them, not to the quill: removing it leaves every one where it is.

Indexed fields are kept plain, so your cloud can sort and filter by them. Encrypted fields are encrypted before they reach the disk.

A Quill for Cloudmorrow: your notes, in Markdown, in folders, with pictures — on the phone, the web app, the terminal and the command line.

A note is a title and a page of Markdown. Folders hold notes and other folders.
Pictures go in a note by pasting, dropping or picking them, and show where they are.
Search finds a note by its name or by any line in it.
Every note is a real file in your notes folder on the server, sealed at rest — the same file WebDAV, cm note and your assistant's notes tools reach. Removing this Quill takes the tab away, never a note.
